Scarlet & Gray Financial Counselors
Scarlet & Gray Financial is a student organization that offers free and confidential financial advice and education to Ohio State students. We seek peer counselors who have a GPA of at least 3.0, a passion for personal finance education, and strong communication skills. Scarlet & Gray Financial counselors offer free, unbiased, and knowledgeable financial education to other undergraduate students at Ohio State, while at the same time gaining valuable experience for their future profession.
Training for new counselors occurs at the beginning of the quarter, and new counselors shadow returning counselors until they feel comfortable enough to take on appointments of their own. Counselors typically volunteer for three hours per week during the quarter, but the hours can be flexible and easily adjusted.
