Peer Advocates for Total Health (PATH)

Peer Advocates for Total Health!

Peer Advocates for Total Health (PATH) is a student organization at OSU that is closely tied with the Student Wellness Center.  PATH members are students who care about health and wellness issues, as well as other people. They come from all academic majors and are formally trained to encourage health education and health promotion by helping other OSU students understand the important relationship between lifestyle choices and maintaining an optimal state of health and wellness.

PATH members serve as peer health educators on campus by giving presentations on all aspects of wellness, including alcohol and other drug abuse prevention and sexual wellness. PATH members help to represent the Student Wellness Center at campus-wide events, and they also assist with planning and implementing activities on campus during events like World AIDS Day, Sexual Responsibility Week, National Nutrition Month, the How the Health Are You? fair, National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, and many others.
