To assist students with budget and credit/debt management, the Student Wellness Center is providing the services of a financial specialist for all OSU students. The financial counselor, Kate Trombitas, provides educational presentations for the First Year Experience and Don't Cancel That Class programs, as well as seminars for residence halls and student organizations.

Financial counseling is provided through one-on-one meetings in the Student Wellness Center. These services are available at no cost to students.

Specific areas of support include:

• banking basics
  
• budgeting
  
• credit card selection & use
  
• debt repayment planning
• obtaining credit reports
  
• investing
